Purvi Products, Ahmedabad makes India's First portable plating machine "Rich Gold" for on-site plating work The "Rich Gold" is a unique plating machine for selective plating and plating is done without dipping the job in electroplating tanks. The plating quality is better than tank plating. Plating of Hard Nickel, Hard Chrome, Gold, Silver, Tin, Lead and Copper metal is possible on metal parts including stainless steel. With the help of this unique machine you can also repair ENP Coated or Hard Chrome Plated Jobs without de-plating the whole job. The system is used for Protection against corrosion and wear, for increasing the surface hardness and reducing electrical contact resistance. The Plating is done with the brush and you can achieve the required plating thickness as per your job requirement. Matching of the thickness with original thickness is very easy. You can repair your Hard Chrome plated job without de-plating of the original plated layer hence minimizes downtime and production delays. Even this doesn't require entire masking or fixture for plating. Also, there is no requirement of any kind of base plating like copper or nickel before Hard Chrome plating. You can directly build up Chrome Plating layer on your repairing area. Our Machine offers portability - so less chance of transit / handling damages on large jobs. It also helps to build up the plating layer without much disassembly of the jobs. Damaged and rejected parts can be salvaged without stripping and re-plating. In some big jobs a minor damage or scratch can be salvaged in few hours.

Plating of Bright Nickel, Gold, Silver, Lead, Tin and Copper metal is possible on metal parts including stainless steel. The usage of this unique machine is unlimited and mainly depends upon creativity and imagination skill of the user. The installation of electrical equipment in adverse environments containing corrosive gases, liquids, or dust can cause severe and rapid deterioration of the equipment. For good electrical contact, silver plating is commonly used in circuit breakers, motor starters, and electrical conductors. Silver Plating on electrical contacts including bus bars and terminal ends has proved to be a very effective tool to bring down the electrical losses occurring on account of joint resistance. Joint resistance is reduced by 40%. Heat generation is also reduced and possible failures due to hotspots are thus averted. The application list includes plating on edge contacts of assembled PCB card without disassembly or masking, plating on flexible circuitry and tape cable, prototype manufacturing, extra thickness on already plated area, small scale production of PCB with gold plating, silver plating on electrical contacts, bus bars & terminals, nickel plating on stainless steel for improving solderability, touch-up on plated parts and industrial parts where selective plating is required or specified in specifications. The machine is also useful for metal art work, handicrafts, statues, hobby plating on coins, car accessories, temple items, key-chains and for logo/design etching on metal parts.
